Congress Trying To Win Pawan Kalyan?

Pawan Kalyan played a major role in the humiliating defeat of Congress in 2014 with his Congress Hatao Desh Bachao slogan. The party which was in power for ten years on a trot in United Andhra Pradesh lost power. In Andhra Pradesh, Congress is yet to open its account in two elections after the State Bifurcation and in Telangana, it has to confine only to Opposition Status.

In Congress, KCR took away its Main Opposition Status by encouraging defections and the grand old party faces the task of existence and for that, it has to win the by-election of Huzoornagar. The seat got vacated as PCC President, Uttam Kumar Reddy got elected as an MP.

Congress has reached out to Pawan Kalyan for his support in this election. Congress sent feelers to Pawan Kalyan by attending the Round-Table Conference against Uranium Mining. Even the Congress leaders did not like the idea of Party’s Senior Leaders attending a conference by a small party.

Now, Congress Senior Leader, V Hanumantha Rao went to Janasena Office and requested Pawan Kalyan’s support to Congress candidate in Huzoornagar. It has to be seen how Pawan Kalyan responds to it. If Janasenani gives a nod, it will be a massive fillip to Congress’ fortunes in Telangana.
