Corona Crisis: Where the Jagan Government is Going Wrong?

The other day, Andhra Pradesh had recorded more than 10,000 Corona cases for the first time ever since the Pandemic. The state has more number of cases than any other state in the country for the last couple of days. Everyone is worried about what is happening in the state.

The fact that the cases are high despite having no urban clusters is the cause of worry. Moreover, Andhra Pradesh does not have many big private hospitals to cope with the demand for beds. So, the coming days are going to be extremely tough for the state.

On the other side, the Jagan Government is hiding under the high number of testings in preventing any sorts of criticism. But then, people seem to be not buying it anymore as the cases are zooming at alarming levels. The death rate is also very high which is another worrying factor.

“High Testing is only a part of Corona Control. The highest number of Corona tests should not be a reason for a high number of cases. The Government should control the cases with effective contract tracing and containment measures which seems to be the problem in AP,” experts say.
