Corporations still battle bifurcation woes!

Even after 7 months of the state bifurcation, both the Telugu States are still fighting bifurcation blues. 85 corporations of the United State are to be divided between both the states but the issue is becoming complicated day by day. These corporations have assets worth thousands of Crores are to be divided in the ratio of 58:42 between AP and TS, in proportionate to their populations.

The Center has appointed Sheela Bhide Committee to finalise the distribution but not a single corporation is divided till date. Things are becoming more and more complicated with either states trying to gain control over them and by freezing bank accounts and resorting to diversion of funds.

Funds are freezed in many corporation making them difficult to run. Officials working in these corporations are under tremendous pressure in discharging their duties in the absence of clarity regarding which government’s instructions to follow.
