Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar, has arrived in Hyderabad amidst positive exit poll projections for the Congress party in Telangana.

While some polls favor Congress, others suggest a potential hung assembly, prompting concerns about MLA poaching.

Shivakumar, known as the troubleshooter in the Congress party, assured that there will be no resort politics, emphasizing Congress’s anticipation of a clear majority in all three states.

Shivakumar, expressing confidence in Congress MLAs, dismissed the possibility of poaching and affirmed his belief in the party’s victory. He stated that he is prepared to handle any situation as instructed by the high command.

Telangana, where elections took place on November 30 with a 71.34% voter turnout, sees confidence from the Bhartiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS), Congress, and BJP.

Despite tough competition between BRS and Congress according to exit polls, Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has called for a cabinet meeting on December 4.

TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has urged Congress workers to be ready for the potential swearing-in ceremony of the Congress CM on December 9.
