BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s judicial custody has been extended till April 23. The CBI produced Kavitha before the Rouse Avenue Court earlier today.
The CBI sought 14 custody of Kavitha for her interrogation in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. However, after hearing the case, the court decided to extend Kavitha’s judicial custody for eight more days.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media on the court premises, Kavitha said that she is not in CBI custody but in BJP custody.
She alleged that what BJP leaders are saying outside, CBI has been asking the same questions inside again and again for the last two years.
The magistrate expressed displeasure with Kavitha for engaging with the media on court premises and warned her not to do so in the future.
Kavitha has been giving media bytes every time she went to court and is involving in political commentary. With this latest order, it will be no longer possible.
