CPI Narayana’s Relatives in Boat Tragedy

The death toll at Krishna River Tragedy reached 19. Rescue team managed to find two more bodied this morning. A mother from Ongole breathed her last after she suffered cardiac arrest seeing her daughter’s dead body.

Among those who are killed is the sister of CPI Leader Narayana.Her daughter-in-law and granddaughter are still missing. Family members are at Ibrahimpatnam Sanghamam Ghat since yesterday. Narayana’s wife also reached Sanghamam Ghat this morning and is anxiously waiting with some hope.

The boat that capsized has not permission. Tourism Department reportedly sent away the boat on Sunday morning citing the same but the driver reached another ghat in the evening to cash the demand of Karthika Masam Sunday when the officials are not there and later resulted in the fatal accident.
