CPM Party had announced its first list of contesting candidates in Telangana region. The party distanced itself from Telugu Desam Party and CPI following their principle of allying only with anti-BJP and anti-Congress Parties. There is a talk that the party may allign with YSR Congress Party but nothing is confirmed as of now.
