Daggubati Venkateswara Rao had blown conch against the Congress High Command. He registered his protest against the High command by not voting for the three candidates fielded by Congress Party in the Rajya Sabha elections. He pressed the NOTA button (None Of The Above) as a mark of protest against Congress High command regarding the state bifurcation issue and for not respecting sentiments of Seema Andhra people. He also announced that he already made his choice clear to CM Kiran Kumar Reddy.
