Daggubati Purandeswari Injecting Blood to BJP

A few days ago, BJP Mahila Morcha President Purandeshwari met YSR Congress leader and former MLA CK Babu at his residence. Purandeshwari back then termed it as a personal visit and CK Babu is a well wisher for a long time. But then CK Babu joined BJP today in the presence of BJP President, Amit Shah.

Known for his rowdy background, several cases pending on him and surviving a couple of life attacks as well, C.K. Babu, a four-time MLA of Chittoor, once as an independent (1989), and thrice from Congress (1994, 1999 and 2009). He joined YSR Congress just before 2014 election. He was in for a shock from Jagan after denied Chittoor Assembly seat, which went to one Jangalapalle Srinivasulu.

Though the CK family and their supporters worked for the YSRCP candidate, the TDP candidate D.A. Satyaprabha, wife of late D.K. Audikesavulu Naidu, won the seat. CK Babu tried to join TDP as well but was not admitted by Chandrababu. In the last month, YSR Congress Party officially stated that the former MLA was not associated with the party and that led to his joining BJP.
