Damage Contained, But TDP Should Realize The Lesson!

Reports are emerging that TDP Senior leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary is contemplating resigning from the party and his MLA seat. The Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA has been upset with the party leadership about accessibility issues. The reports have first arrived on TDP supporting media.

TDP Top Brass has deployed Former MLA Nallamilli Rama Krishna Reddy was sent to pacify the veteran leader. “We will solve the issues internally. He has decided to drop the idea. Chandrababu and Atchennaidu have spoken to him,” Nallamilli said.

The issue may be buried (going by Nallamilli) but then, it should shake TDP for sure. If a senior like Butchaiah who is with the party since its inception is not comfortable in the family, that is not a good sign for the party. If Butchaiah leaves the party, that would be more damage than any other leader who left the party.

Moreover, it will hit the morale of the TDP which has just shifted gears to trouble the ruling party. Lokesh and Chandrababu should address such issues immediately.
