Khairatabad MLA Daanam Nagender is back in the news again due to his behavior in the Assembly. Regardless of political affiliation, the way Daanam speaks about Opposition BRS leaders is objectionable.
He was elected as an MLA on a BRS ticket and later joined the Congress. Daanam contested as a Congress candidate from the Secunderabad Parliament but lost the election to BJP’s Kishan Reddy. It is surprising that the Speaker allowed Daanam to speak on the issue in the house from BRS.
BRS MLAs objected while Daanam was speaking about the Job Calendar. Frustrated, Daanam used filthy remarks and words against the BRS MLAs, shocking everyone. Of course, BRS MLA Kousik Reddy provoked Daanam with unparliamentary words.
While MLA Daanam Nagender was giving a speech, Kousik Reddy used an offensive word. In response, Daanam Nagender warned him and retaliated in a similar manner. This isn’t the first time Daanam has behaved this way.
When he was in Congress before the state was divided, Daanam controlled the TRS cadre and people with police force. Although he was elected consecutively, Daanam’s attitude has not politically benefited the Congress.
People should always observe the behavior of their leaders. The result of the Telangana elections serves as a clear verdict against the high-handed attitude of such leaders.
