Date Marked for the Verdict on Jagan’s Exemption from Court Appearances

The arguments on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Petition for Personal Appearance Exemption in all his cases have happened in the CBI Court today. The counsel of Jagan took a strict objection to CBI’s apprehensions about influencing the witnesses.

“Jagan has been attending court every Friday without fail and there is no single instance of influencing witnesses. All the points raised by CBI are just fictitious. Jagan is asking for Exemption only for the perfect discharge of his duties,” the counsel for Jagan argued.

“The court already rejected Exemption for Jagan taking everything into consideration. Nothing has changed now except for Jagan’s Position. He should not be given a Permanent exemption and should get Exemption for a particular day when needed,” the Counsel for CBI said.

After the conclusion of the arguments, the judge Posted the Verdict to November 1st. Jagan applied to exempt from Personal Appearances on the grounds of Poor finances of Andhra Pradesh post the Bifurcation and for the discharge of his duties as the Chief Minister.
