Davos Trip: Who Will Lead – CBN Or Lokesh?

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to use the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos as a platform to attract foreign investment to the state. It has formulated a strategy to attract big corporates from around the world and reap maximum benefits.

The state government has proposed to provide an opportunity to meet with representatives of companies from 25 countries at the WEF conference, which will be held for four days from the 20th of this month.

Based on the available time and convenience, preliminary permission has been received from the forum to hold personal meetings with CEOs and representatives of companies from 18 countries. Davos Trips in Chandrababu’s earlier regimes yielded good results for Andhra Pradesh.

The last Davos Trip happened in January 2019 and Nara Lokesh led the Andhra Pradesh Delegation. Even though Lokesh put his best efforts, the Government changed in the next six months and there is a disruption in the continuity.

That was for the first time that Lokesh represented Andhra Pradesh at the WEF after Naidu, who had been attending the meetings regularly, opted out due to official and political engagements.

After that, the Jagan Government did not care about it or any investments in that matter.

This time Nara Lokesh is up to the task and is ready to fire if given a chance.

It has to be seen if Chandrababu will lead the delegation or give the opportunity for Lokesh.
