
The bench heard around thirty cases today and the Amaravati number did not come before the court timings. So, the court adjourned the cases to November 28th.
Andhra Pradesh Government filed a Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court against Andhra Pradesh High Court’s previous judgment on Amaravati. The Government says the judgment is nothing but encroachment into the powers of the Executive and the legislature.
But the court is yet to hear the arguments in this crucial case. The judgment will decide the future of Amaravati and the three capitals.
A judgment, either way, will not leave any progress in Amaravati or the three capitals because the government does not have funds or even the intent to spend anything on infrastructure creation.
It will also set the narrative for the 2024 elections in Andhra Pradesh.
