BRS leader urged Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to demolish his own and other leaders’ properties to satisfy his ego, instead of targeting poor people’s homes.
It is already known that HYDRAA and the Musi River Beautification Board have been taking action against residences and properties on lakes and water bodies, and the Musi River respectively.
Speaking at an event today, KTR said, “I have only one request to CM. If you feel that your ego will be satisfied by demolishing our buildings, please go ahead. And stop it there. Don’t go after poor people’s houses.”
“Their houses are registered. They built buildings with the government’s permission. They have been paying all taxes for the last 40-50 years. Now, you (Revanth) are calling them kabzadaars and sending bulldozers to demolish their houses,” he stated.
KTR demanded that Revanth should demolish his own house in Kodangal’s Reddykunta which is also in the Full Tank Level (FTL) of a lake and his brother Tirupathi Reddy’s house which is in the FTL of Durgam Cheruvu lake, before going after poor people’s places.
