Both of them did not get the appointment of the Prime Minister since morning. Modi made last-minute attempt to pacify the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He called Chandrababu and talked for about 20 minutes asking him to reconcile his decision.

Chandrababu held a high-level meeting after Modi’s call but decided not to take a back step at this juncture. Finally, the Union Ministers have met the Prime Minister and tendered their resignations. Their meeting with Modi lasted for 10 minutes.

The other day Chandrababu tried to reach out to the Prime Minister before announcing the pulling out of his ministers but Modi was not reachable. There is a huge spread criticism on this and Modi may have tried to make amends for that.
