Dhone: Naidu Keeps KE Family Aside!

Ever since the inception of Telugu Desam Party, the party’s candidates have won four times in Dhone constituency, Kurnool district.

The current Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has won two times on a trot in 2014 and 2019.

KE Pratap has contested unsuccessfully both the times. Chandrababu Naidu is going for a new candidate this time. The other day, Naidu was in Kurnool for Baadhude Baadhudu program.

He announced Dharmavaram Subbareddy as the party’s candidate. He was previously in YSR Congress and joined TDP in 2017. After 2019, he has been very active in the constituency and is leading protests against the Government.

Buggana Rajendranath Reddy who used to be very active while in the Opposition is struggling ever since Jagan came to power. He is always in pressure due to the bad financial condition of the state.

He has been ignoring the constituency while making regular trips to Delhi. Subbareddy, at the same time, is impressing people by being always accessible.

But then, his winning chances will also depend on the cooperation of KE family which will be losing the constituency for the first time to an outsider since 1978.
