‘Dial 100’ to serve both the states!

Now that the state division is confirmed and both Seema Andhra and Telangana are going to operate individually from June 2nd, the appointed day, Almost every asset of the current state is being divided between both the states. However therer will no division for the ‘Dail 100’ service which on dialing will reach by the nearby Police Station. Currently the call centre is now managed by a private group.

The calls received there will be routed through the BSNL network and the information will be passed on by the staff to the police station concerned in Seemandhra or Telangana and the DG command control centre will have officers from both AP and Telangana. People of both the states can dial 100 in case of emergency. Except for call centres and command and control centres, the rest of the communication department is divided. The equipment is also divided.
