Did BJP Commit a Blunder With Regards to Nithiin and Nikhil?

Hero Nikhil tasted the biggest blockbuster of his career with the adventure thriller, Karthikeya 2. This Chandoo Mondeti directorial has crossed Rs 120 crore gross mark and is still minting decent revenues. Along with twin Telugu states, the film is performing well in the North belt due to the Lord Sri Krishna theme involved in it.

On the other hand, the ruling party, BJP, which is aiming to come to power in Telangana, has been getting in touch with Tollywood stars. A few weeks back, home minister Amit Shah met NTR and had dinner with him in Hyderabad. Later, BJP president JP Nadda met hero Nithiin and had a discussion with him.

There is huge speculation on social media that the local BJP leaders were confused between Nikhil and Nithiin and made arrangements for the latter’s meeting with JP Nadda. Many are saying that there was no point in meeting Nithiin after a disaster like Macherla Niyojaka Vargam.

On the other hand, Nikhil delivered a ‘Hindu’ blockbuster that aligns with the BJP agenda. So Nikhil might have been the right choice instead of Nithiin.

Will the BJP high command rectify their mistake and come forward to have a meeting with Nikhil for their political gains or not? It needs to be seen!
