Did Naidu play a risky game with Lokesh?

It is a writing on the wall that GHMC elections will go TRS way. Probably even the worse political expert predicted but only this huge majority is a surprise. However Chandrababu Naidu took a big risk by projecting Lokesh as face of the party in this election.

Any politician will think of giving his heir an easy target to achieve during his launch but Naidu risked it big. TDP ended up at the bottom of the table with just one seat, a very humiliating defeat.

Lokesh may have to bear this shame through out his life. However Lokesh will evolve as a leader only when he faces this cruel reality and work harder. Probably this is why Naidu put him under the hammer.
