Did This Senior Bureaucrat Throw A Jibe on CM Jagan?

Retired IAS Officer, PV Ramesh was appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister as soon as YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power. We do not know what went wrong but the Chief Minister stripped him of all the portfolios recently and relegated him to be a namesake Advisor.

All that is left for Ramesh is the designation and a chamber in the CMO. While this news went viral, Ramesh did not respond to anything on it. He went on about his usual business on Twitter by posting opinions on various issues. But one of his Tweets has garnered so much attention.

Quoting a tweet with Trump’s picture of wearing a mask for the first time, Ramesh said, “Hope and wish all leaders, opinion makers, everyone started wearing a face mask while in a public place like the President of USA. Be a #RoleModel. (sic)”. This seems to be a jibe against CM Jagan.

It is known to all how the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has come under criticism for not wearing a mask while being in public places.
