Diplomatic attacks between India and US

Senior Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade was charged with visa fraud and making false statements last week. She was strip-searched and locked in a cell with drug addicts and also subjected to DNA swabbing. This has trigged uproar in India and the Government had decided to settle the issue with US diplomats to register their protest regarding the ill treatment to its Envoy.

2. Government withdrew airport passes for all US diplomatic staff.

3. It is decided that all traffic barricades near the US embassy on Nyaya Marg in Delhi except the picket will be removed immediately
