Disappointing Start To Cartoonist Sridhar’s Second Innings

Legendary Cartoonist Sridhar has stirred a sensation after he ended his 40 years stint with Eenadu. For scores of Eenadu readers for several years, the day starts with his cartoons. So his resignation has come as a shock to everyone. There were many speculations about what his next move is.

There were rumors that he would join some other Newspaper. But surprising everyone Sridhar opted to join a YouTube channel as New Analyst. The YouTube channel is also unknown and an introduction of Sridhar’s program has gone live the other day.

Sridhar who was behind the scenes for several years was shaky before the camera and is continuously reading the news by looking at the script. As a result, there were several cuts in the video. The topics chose to analyze for the introduction video are also not up to the mark.

While Andhra Pradesh and Telangana politics should be the strength of Sridhar, topics chosen are dry ones at national and international level. While we should definitely give a benefit of doubt since it is the very first episode, it is definitely a shaky start.
