Jayalalithaa Hated Coffee in Apollo Says Nurses

The late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa, was known for her toughness. After her death in the Apollo Hospital three days ago, we talked to the staff there and they revealed some insights into the last days of her life.

It is common knowledge that she needed intensive care and was being treated by a team of brilliant doctors. However, she was first admitted for just fever and dehydration which later turned into an infection hence needing respiratory support. But what finally killed her over two months later was a massive cardiac arrest.

The hospital staff working her case said that she was a warm and passionate woman and had a great sense of humour. She always joked around with the doctors and nurses and once when the doctor said that in the hospital, he was the boss, she countered by saying that the whole state was her turf. As for the hospital food that nobody likes, she ate upma, curd rice, and pongal without any fuss but openly disliked the coffee served in Apollo and even offered them to come home with her for a better cup coffee when she gets discharged.
