Does TDP Really Need A Political Strategist?

The news about TDP approaching Political Strategist Prashant Kishor’s I-PAC went viral in the social media. This comes as a surprise because Chandrababu and Prashant Kishor involved in a verbal spat in the recent elections. TDP has confirmed that it has not approached Prashant Kishor but the discussion is if TDP really needs a Political Strategist.

TDP is a Traditional Party and Chandrababu Naidu is well-versed in Traditional Warfare. But then, things have changed drastically in the last five years and Social Media is gaining prominence. With Data becoming cheap, the penetration of Messaging Apps like Whatsapp has become intensive. TDP definitely needs a brain which has ideas for the new technological developments.

Chandrababu is known to be ahead of times in Technology but the Youth Mindset is needed to revamp TDP’s Strategy. Prashant Kishor or any other agency is needed to do that. The agency should be able to channelize the huge cadre base of TDP and use them effectively.

Some people in social media say elections are five years away and there is a long time for such employment. But then, with such a historical defeat TDP should keep its folks together for the next 2-3 years which can happen only when they start working from now and they should show the anti-government feeling in the Public Perception to stay relevant. So hiring Prashant Kishor or any other agency is definitely a wise move.
