Dokka was to join YSR Congress last month but Rayapati intervened in the last minute and stopped it. Dokka is likely to join the ruling party on August 15th. Dokka’s constituency, Tadikonda has a sitting TDP MLA, Sravan Kumar. We will have to see how Dokka will be accommodate in TDP.
Dokka has the distinction of being a minister in YSR, Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinets. He represents Dalit community which is influential in Seema Andhra politics. Dokka was also the ideologue of MRPS movement.
