Double Game Politics by YSR Congress

A few days ago, we have seen a letter copy of YSR Congress MP, YV Subba Reddy in which he brought to the notice of the Central Government that Andhra Pradesh government is diverting funds of MNREGA to other schemes.

MNREGA is an Employment Guarantee Scheme which is being funded majorly by the Center. The state government is using this services for various schemes which will facilitate their completion. Subba Reddy has asked the center to stop the funds for the schemes.

At the same time, YSR Congress Senior Leader Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy called for a Press Meet and criticized the state government for not getting the bills of MNREGA cleared. He alleged that Modi’s ego was hurt as the state government is using the funds for the schemes on Chandrababu’s name.

This is a clear case of Double Game by the Opposition Party and such cheap tactics will only expose the hollowness of it. Due to YV Subba Reddy’s complaint, bills of 1100 Crores were stopped by the center which adds to the woes of the cash-strapped state and 1000s of poor workers dependent on MNREGA.
