Dutch Touch to Amaravati

After the Singapore, Chinese and English, Dutch are keen to take up projects in the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Executives from top firms in the Netherlands met senior officials of CRDA here on Friday and extended their expertise in water front projects. They gave presentations on beautifying waterways in Vijayawada and the capital city area.

They have also explained their expertise about re-use of waste water and tapping flood waters for beautifying the cities which will help the state government’s plan to develop the new capital city area as a blue-green city. They say the riverfront capital city is a great idea which will help in attracting tourists if the projects are planned in a proper way.

CRDA already have couple of options about the expertise in helping the development of water front projects. So they will be evaluating all the options before them, while taking the final decision.
