Earned Lakhs duping Flipkart

Four persons Gajjela Srinivasulu Reddy, M D Fazaluddin, J Ashok Kumar and Sayyad Jaleel belonging to Nellore are now settled in Warangal district of Telangana. They have worked with Flipkart previously and recently began duping the e-commerce major identifying some loopholes in the system. They would orders for high-end mobile phones from the company website under fictitious names and email Ids.

Once they are delivered, they would complain of faulty issues and ask for a refund. They give fake or dupe products during the returns but would get full refunds from the company. After observing the pattern for a while, Flipkart registered a Police complaint with KU Police, Warangal.

After thorough investigation, Srinivasulu was arrested on Monday and based on the information provided by him, the three others were also held. The police have managed to recover 21 handsets worth Rs 7.10 lakh, Rs 6.50 lakh in cash and one laptop from their possession.
