Telangana BJP has released the first list of candidates in the wake of the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections. A list of 52 candidates has been revealed.
Three MPs are being fielded in the Assembly elections. Soyam Bapu Rao will contest from Boath (ST), Bandi Sanjay will contest from Karimnagar, and Dharmapuri Arvind from Korutla.
Eatala Rajender will contest from Gajwel (KCR’s constituency) and Huzurabad. Eatala who was previously in BRS shifted to the BJP and vowed to defeat KCR on his own turf.
Staying true to his word, he is in the fray from Gajwel. But then, contesting from two seats indicates Eatala is not very serious or sure about defeating KCR and so, is contesting from a second seat as a backup.
This strategy is like conceding defeat even before fighting the battle.
He should have at least left Huzurabad to his wife.
Also fielding three MPs in the Assembly elections is an indication of a lack of strong candidates for the BJP.
The party also revoked the suspension of Raja Singh and announced him as the candidate of Goshamahal.
