ED Makes Yet Another Attachment in Jagan’s Case

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy completed 50 days of Padayatra and 700 Kilometers Milestone on Tuesday. While YSR Congress is rejoicing the milestone, a big shock has come to the party from the Enforcement Directorate.

The ED has attached movable and immovable assets worth 117.74 crores under PMLA of companies of I. Syam Prasad Reddy, Indu Projects, Embassy Property Developments & Vasantha Projects totally valued at Rs.117.74 Crore in Indu-APHB case related to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

This attachment will batter the image of Jagan while he is trying to garner the support of the people with the Padayatra.The allegation is that Jagan floated a number of companies wherein quid pro quo investments have been made by beneficiaries from decisions of the state government headed by his father.

The investors of Jagan’s companies were benefitted in various forms like SEZs (special economic zones), irrigation contracts, relaxation/permission for real estate ventures, mines among others. Jagan is the Prime Accused and his family auditor Vijaya Sai Reddy, now Rajya Sabha MP from YSR Congress is the Accused No.2. As many as 11 Chargesheets were already filed.
