ED tightens screws on Jagan in EMAAR Case!

Enforcement Directorate on Monday has attached properties worth 96 Crores from various accused in the EMAAR properties case. ED earlier in 2012 has already attached 71 Crores in the same case. Koneru Pradeep, son of Koneru Prasad (Contested from YSRCP for Vijayawada MP) got his 36 acres land attached in this attachment.

Huge discrepancies were found in those trasactions in to APIIC-Emaar township project. The accused persons entered in to the deal with EMAAR after several quid pro quo deals with the then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. In most of such deals, it was YSR’s son, Jagan who got benefited.

Later the accused persons collected excess amounts in cash from the sale of villa plots and shared this amount among themselves cheating APIIC. Following the attachments, criminal cases will be registered on them and the attached properties will be auctioned once again.
