EC to help KCR big time!

One of the decisions announced by Election Commission will prove to be a boon for the Telangana Rashtra Samiti. The Election Commission of India is planning to attach Aadhar Number for every vote and there by weed out voters having duplicate votes in multiple areas. According to Indian Constitution, a person can vote only once in an election and in any area of the country where he is residing.

Usually elections take place in multiple phases. Voters do vote in one place and later vote in other areas in the next phases. This problem is particularly high in Hyderabad City. The settlers in Hyderabad used to vote in Telangana and later go to their native places to vote.

TRS felt that such settlers have severely impacted their chances in the elections till now as settlers always favoured TDP or Congress. TRS will now hope that this Aadhar system will force settlers to forego their votes in Hyderabad and thereby giving the ruling party an advantage.
