Election Schedule Delayed for Modi’s Last Cabinet Meeting?

The Last Union Cabinet Meeting is scheduled to be held at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg tomorrow. Narendra Modi Government may take a few last minute steps to impress the people ahead of the elections. The Election Schedule may come up any time after tomorrow and is most likely the very next day.

Election Commission is being arm-twisted to accommodate the BJP led Central Government’s last-minute trials in recent times. In 2014 elections, the election schedule is already announced by now. As soon as the election schedule is out, the Model Code of Conduct will come into force immediately.

From then on, the Government should not announce any new schemes or policies until the new government takes the oath. Let us see what Narendra Modi had under his sleeve in this last minute effort. Along with the General Elections Schedule, the Schedule of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections will also come out.
