Elections in United Andhra Pradesh!

A source in the Home Ministry reveals that the forthcoming elections will happen in the United Andhra Pradesh even if Telangana bill get passed in our state assembly and Parliament. It is said that time is not sufficient to create the states before elections. Once the bill passes in Parliament, it takes one month time for the notification and after that, President of India will announce the state formation date in two more months time.

Sources say similar process is adopted in the case of Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand during their formation. The notification for the 2014 Assembly elections is expected to release in the second week of March. On the other side, Experts say in special conditions, Government of India can recommend Election Commission to postpone a state assembly by a maximum of six months.
