Another Electronics Giant Signs MOU with AP Govt

Leading Electronics giant, Flextronics is all set to establish a Manufacturing Unit in Andhra Pradesh. The company will invest 585 Crore and create 6600 jobs. The IT and Electronics department signed an MOU with one of the world’s biggest electronics manufacturing services company, a little while ago.

This company has its units in around 30 countries across the globe. The manufacturing unit will be set up in Tirupati. Lokesh has followed up the company really hard and also sat with their representatives twice in Bengaluru and Tirupati.

Lokesh has been keen to encourage the electronics companies in the state in the manufacturing sector to reach the target of ensuring 2 lakh jobs in this sector by 2019. This will be the shot in the arm of Bifurcated State in that direction.
