Paritala Sunita on Wednesday took charge as the Minister of Civil Supplies and Prices Control in Hyderabad. She was allotted the same office in Room No. 704 in the J block of secretariat which was previously used by her slain husband Paritala Ravindra when he was minister during TDP regime. After taking charge, Sunita thanked Chandra Babu for staying beside their family in tough times.
She also said that it was her luck to get a ministry which will allow her to feed the poor and needy in the state. She made her first signature on extending the ration coupons by 6 more months. Paritala Ravindra was killed by opponents months after Congress came to power in Andhra Pradesh. His wife Paritala Sunita who was a house wife till then came in to politics to safeguard their region and people.
