Employees divided about Amaravati shift?

Andhra Pradesh government had decided to shift its administration from Hyderabad to Amaravati. Earlier they have planned to shift the entire administration by June 27th. But with employees pressurizing the government, the state government had decided to shift the employees in phase till August 31st.

While some of the employees have batted for phase wise shift, a section of employees are not happy with the decision of their counterparts. These employees have already found the accommodation in Amaravati and are now worried about the postponement as they have to pay rents both in Hyderabad and Amaravati.

They can not afford to drop from Amaravati accommodations as they have given big advances. They also fear that rents may go up if they let go the rented houses now and come back in couple of months. On the other side, the construction of the interim secretariat in Velagapudi is going on at brisk pace.
