End of Sasikala’s Chapter in Tamil Politics?

Sasikala’s nephew and AIADMK Deputy General Secretary Dinakaran was arrested last night in the case of trying to bribe Election Commission Officials for Two Leaves Symbol. Sasikala is already in jail and her husband Natrajan is not doing well.

That implies the chapter of Sasikala in Tamil Politics is more or less done. Reports are emerging that all the pictures and Cutouts of Sasikala are being removed from AIADMK offices indicating that the party is moving away from her.

Palaniswami and Paneerselvam factions are in talks for a merger and ousting the Mannargudi family is the first step in that direction. Paneerselvam is demanding that he should be made the Chief Minister while Palaniswami will be made the Deputy CM.
