Every Saturday ‘No Bag Day’: Nara Lokesh

Nara Lokesh has been working hard to improve the quality of education system in keeping with the new technological developments. Since coming to power, he has already come up with quite a few reforms in the sector.

Now, Nara Lokesh has instructed officials to make Saturdays ‘No Bag Day’ in schools. The minister says children would attend school without a bag and participate in co-curricular activities instead.

Lokesh also announced that in place of many apps for teachers, he would release a single app. He said tecaher meetings must be held to promote learning skills of children with new technology.

The HRD minister also enquired about Apaar ID to know the actual number of students in schools. He discussed about the reforms he is likely to bring about at intermediate level.

He also clarified that he would take take steps towards finding a common ground for the withdrawal of GO 117. Lokesh said he will collect opinions on teacher transfers.
