Excellent Exercise by AP Govt on Loan Waiver!

Finally Andhra Pradesh Government has made the list of Loan Waiver beneficiaries public on Sunday. The list was published online which can be searched by Ration card or Aadhar or Loan account numbers. Government seemed to have done good exercise on this issue. The ceiling per family is very well executed with the help of Ration Card and multiple loans are avoided by Aadhar Card.

Government did write off all the loans below Rs 50,000 in a single instance which will benefit several small farmers. For loans above 50000, the scale of finance (Max loan that can be given as per rules) is applied and then the loans are waived off up to 1.5 Lakh per family.

Government has displayed clear information like loan taken, loan eligible as per sof, loan to be waived off and amount to be disbursed for 2014-15. Government also wrote off gold loans within the ceiling. A special grievances cell will be operated in couple of days to check the disparities in the list announced and the genuine missing names will be incorporated to final list.
