He said, “For the next four years and nine months, let’s focus on developing our region, ensuring the welfare of our people, and striving to make Mangalagiri poverty-free. In the final three months, we can shift our attention to politics, as that will be election time.”

Lokesh said that he is aiming to make Mangalagiri the South India’s Gold Hub. He assured that the government would solve the issues of goldsmiths and weavers, who form a majority of Mangalagiri’s population.

He also revealed that the government would be allocating a 25-acre land to set up an institute to teach modern designs and various other skills to people.

Lokesh, along with his wife Brahmani, performed a special puja at the temple during the event. They assured people that all their promises would be fulfilled very soon.
