Swedish Furniture marker, IKEA is all set to open its first Indian store in Hyderabad on 9th of this month. There is a tremendous excitement in city folks towards the International Brand and it is being felt everywhere including the social media.

IKEA is expected to witness a heavy influx of customers that day and it has to be seen how the International Furniture Major will hand the massive footfalls which is something really different from what they have experienced in other countries.

IKEA’s Hyderabad facility has come up with an investment of a whopping 1000 crore. This would provide 1000 direct and 1500 indirect jobs at the store, and 50% of the employees would be women. IKEA is planning to expand to several Indian Cities in the coming years
