Experts fail to convince KCR over Metro Changes!

Sheela Bhide, chairperson of the expert committee on division of public sector undertakings between AP and Telangana, is also an Independent Director of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited. She met the Telangana Chief Minister couple of days ago and made it a point that the proposed changes for Hyderabad Metro Project will not only escalate costs but also delay the project.

However KCR is firm on his point and pressed on the changes even if it means shelling out some extra Crores. The government even went on submitting the changes intended near Assembly building and near Sultan Bazaar.

L&T will have to list out the costs incurred in making this changes and a final call will be taken then by both the parties. It is said that neither L&T nor the Central government is in favour of making this changes. They are intensifying their efforts to convince the Telangana government to retain the original plan without any changes.
