While CII Partnership Summit happened in Vizag during Chandrababu Naidu, the then Opposition leader Jagan did hulchul at the Vizag Airport in the name of Special Status.
Jagan and few leaders who accompanied him were not allowed to the VIP lounge and they have done a dharna on the runway. Chandrababu, back then, requested not to bring disdain to the state when investors are here but Jagan would not listen.
Naidu requested the agitation to be postponed for two days until the Summit is over. Media focus was also on Jagan than the Summit.
Cut to now, Chandrababu Naidu handled it very gracefully. The Opposition leader put all political allegations and activities on a hold. Nara Lokesh who is also doing his Padayatra was keeping low key for the entire day.
Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan lent support for the agitation back then on the Summit day but announced he would not make any criticism this time.
