All Eyes on Pawan’s ‘Atma Gouravam’ Sabha

With the announcement of special development package, the BJP government has now made it very clear about their stance on ‘special status’ of AP. Protests have already erupted in some parts of the state regarding the decision. Earlier, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has already expressed his displeasure on the way TDP has handled the issue so far.

Now all eyes are on his ‘Atma Gouravam’ sabha in Kakinada tomorrow. Now that the BJP has come up with Special development package in place of ‘Special status’, it remains interesting to see his reactions on both the BJP and TDP. It remains to be seen whether he goes all guns blazing against the government or takes a diplomatic approach. He already announced a three-stage action plan regarding the issue.

Though he is an ally of the ruling government, his recent backlash with some of the TDP leaders has irked the TDP supporters. Considering the growing sentiment about special status among the people, his stance and approach may tilt few equations within the political circle. It remains elusive whether he goes ahead with his action plan or is there any twist in the tale.
