Fabricated Surveys to Hit the Morale of Mahakutami?

Congress sounded the Poll Beagle the other day with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi‘s Medchal Public Meeting. When the Meeting which was expected to increase the confidence of the Congress Cadre is going on, a National Media Channel has given the Pre-Poll Survey Results of Telangana out of nowhere. The Survey gave a whopping 70 Seats for Telangana Rashtra Samiti.

Incidentally, another National Media Channel telecasted a survey immediately after Rahul Gandhi’s Public Meeting in Telangana the last month. Congress is suspecting the hand of TRS in floating these surveys to intentionally rattle the confidence of Congress and create Public Perception in favour of the Ruling Party.

Political Experts say that this election can not be one sided as the surveys predict. Rural Telangana is clearly divided between both the parties while TRS feels that it has an edge among the Urban Voters. GHMC can be a defining factor in this elections. Hence, Sonia Gandhi has promised Special Status for Andhra Pradesh to woo the settler voters towards Mahakutami.

Settlers form the crucial chunk of Voters in at least 30 Constituencies in Telangana. With TDP diminishing and Congress being the reason for the State Bifurcation, Settlers have gone towards TRS as evident from the results of GHMC Elections. We will have to see if this promise of Congress will sway them back to Mahakutami.
