Fact Check: Pithapuram Varma To YSR Congress?

Pithapuram constituency continues to be the focal point of Alliance Unity in Andhra Pradesh.

It is the one constituency where something or the other is continuously happening between TDP and Janasena.

In TDP, there is a feeling that there are intentional attempts to undermine Varma, and Janasena believes Varma should be eliminated from the constituency so that there are no different power centers.

So far, Pawan Kalyan has been largely successful in blocking Varma’s entry into the Council.

Janasena supporters used to be very happy with Varma during and after the elections.

During the elections, Varma in an interview said, “పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ అసెంబ్లీ గేటు తాకనివ్వకపోవడం ఏంటి? ఆ గేటును తోసుకుని వెళ్తాడు”.

Janasena Supporters used to do Edits with that dialogue and give hype to Pawan Kalyan and Varma.

But times have changed, and Varma has become an enemy for them.

They are abusing Varma and are trying to eliminate him from Pithapuram.

From the past few days, there have been speculations among Janasena Supporters that Varma will be joining YSR Congress soon, and he will be suspended from TDP even before that.

But then, all those speculations look fake and maybe only wishful thinking by the Janasena Supporters.

Today afternoon, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu attended the Engagement Ceremony of Former Minister Devineni Uma’s son at A1 Convention Center, Vijayawada.

Several TDP leaders greeted Naidu, and Varma is one among them.

If at all, Varma is thinking of joining YSR Congress, there is no way the Chief Minister would entertain him.

We have seen the Chief Minister refusing even eye contact with Tiruvur MLA Kolikapudi Srinivas a few days ago after many complaints.

There is no way he would allow Varma near him if the speculations about YSR Congress are true.

However, the question still remains – When will Chandrababu Naidu give an MLC to Varma as promised before the elections?
