False Propaganda about Amaravati event expenses!

Opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh are alleging that the state government is spending a whopping 400 Crore on Amaravati Foundation Ceremony. Jagan even mentioned this in his open letter and termed the expense as sheer waste of Public money.

Given this criticism, government had come up with an explanation. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu told the media that there is not even an iota of truth in this propaganda. He clearly said that the government had only released 9 Crore so far for the event.

So the expense can be anything but not 400 Crore. This is a historic event for the state and it can not be gauged in numbers as also the magnitude of the event success will bring international attention to Amaravati.
