Farmers Padayatra: YCP Facing Heat In Undavalli & Mangalagiri

Amaravati farmers have started their second rung of protests against the Government with Rajadhani Raithula Maha Padayatra from Amaravati to Arasavalli.

The 1000 Kilometers of Padayatra is currently going on in the Guntur district. The Padayatra has got an excellent response even from the villages which are not in the capital region.

Despite not giving land for the capital, the farmers have expressed their support to the agitating farmers. This response is worrying YSR Congress leaders, especially in constituencies like Mangalagiri and Undavalli.

These two constituencies should naturally have an impact on Amaravati. But in both constituencies, YSR Congress won in 2019. But sitting MLAs – Sridevi and Alla Rama Krishna Reddy are swimming against the tide here.

Making things worse, the ministers and YSR Congress leaders are making comments against Amaravati and farmers.

Meanwhile, the new assembly session of Andhra Pradesh will be starting tomorrow. There are reports that after the discussion in the House on the three capitals, the CM is likely to make a key announcement about the government’s policy.

That could make things much worse.
